What we collect and how
When you create or use an account, we receive an account identifier and email address from the sign-in service. When you request feedback, you provide extracted draft text, source filename, media type and size, assignment title, framework, optional custom framework guidance, rubric and review choices. We also create structured feedback, which may contain excerpts from information you choose to leave in the draft and links to public web sources used for verification, plus review status and timestamps. We keep credit balances and App Store product and transaction identifiers needed to grant purchases once. Limited security and service diagnostics may be generated automatically. If you contact support, we receive the information in your message.
Drafts and contracted AI processing
Original documents, scans and photos stay on your iPhone after local text extraction. Only the text you inspect and submit is transmitted. That text is placed in one private temporary workspace and processed by a contracted AI service to produce formative feedback. The service may search and read public web pages when useful for verification. The workspace is destroyed after success or failure. If you do not want names or other identifying details to appear in feedback or account history, remove them before submission.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate you, provide and secure reviews, show account history, operate credits and purchases, prevent duplicate grants and abuse, answer support requests, maintain service reliability, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal information, use drafts for advertising, or track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Service providers and international transfers
Contracted providers support authentication, hosting, database storage, temporary AI processing and Apple payment processing. Public websites may also be accessed to verify relevant standards, policies, literature or current facts. Providers receive only information needed for their role and are required to provide equal or greater protection than this policy and applicable Apple requirements. Processing may occur outside your country; safeguards required by applicable law are used where necessary. Apple processes payment details under Apple's own privacy terms; Nurspective does not receive your card or bank details.
Retention and deletion
Temporary submitted text is removed with its private workspace after the review succeeds or fails. Structured feedback, including any excerpts or identifying details repeated from the submitted text and links to public sources, review metadata and your credit balance remain while your account exists. You can delete your account and review history inside Settings. Account deletion removes account-linked reviews and credits; limited one-way identity and StoreKit transaction records may remain where needed to prevent repeated starter credits or duplicate purchase grants, resolve disputes, maintain security, or satisfy tax and legal duties. Signing out does not delete the account.
Your choices and rights
You choose whether to submit a draft and may edit it before upload. You can withdraw before submission, sign out, delete your account in the app, or email 1309617875@qq.com to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or another right available where you live. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Students and third-party information
Nurspective is intended for higher-education students and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum digital-consent age where they live. You must have permission to submit any content and must follow your school, placement provider and applicable professional requirements for information about patients, colleagues and other people.
Changes
We will update the effective date when this policy changes and provide additional notice when required. Material changes apply prospectively.
